Who we are

buildwithwaqas.com is run by Munawar Automation, the business behind The AI Builder's Lab community and Waqas Munawar's coaching. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Munawar Automation. For anything to do with your data, email waqas@munawarautomation.com.

What we collect, and why

When you ask for a free resource

We collect your first name and email address. We use them to send you the resource, and to send you occasional emails about building with AI, including the community. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

The form also contains a hidden field that people never see. It exists to catch spam bots, and anything a bot types into it is thrown away.

When you book a call

Calls are booked through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email and anything you type into the booking form, and shares it with us so we can run the call. Paid calls are charged through the payment option shown on the booking page.

When you join the community

The AI Builder's Lab runs on Skool. Your account, membership and payment are handled by Skool, under Skool's own terms and privacy policy. We never see your card details.

When you email us

We keep the email so we can reply, and for our records.

When you simply visit

Our host keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

The home page sets no cookies of its own.

• Video. The video on the home page uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and does not load from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, YouTube's own policies apply.
• Meta Pixel. Pages we promote with ads, such as free resource pages, use the Meta Pixel. It sets cookies that tell us whether an ad led to a visit or a sign-up, and lets Meta show our ads to people likely to find them useful. You can control this in your Meta ad preferences, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

Who processes your data for us

We use a small number of services to run this site. Each one only receives what it needs.

• Vercel hosts the website.
• n8n receives form submissions and passes them on.
• Google Workspace (Sheets and Gmail) stores sign-ups and sends email.
• Calendly handles call bookings.
• Skool runs the community and its payments.
• Meta measures ad performance through the Meta Pixel.
• YouTube plays the embedded video.

Some of these services store data in the United States and other countries.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent your personal information.
• We never add you to a list you did not ask to join.
• We never ask for card details on this website.

How long we keep it

We keep your name and email while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what is needed to make sure you are not emailed again. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it, unless we are required by law to keep a record.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in the UK and EU and privacy laws in Canada and California, you can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it for marketing

Email waqas@munawarautomation.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site and the community are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, forms are checked for spam, and access to stored sign-ups is limited to us. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
